Summer Barbecue brought people together for a relaxed evening of food, conversation, and community in the backyard garden of one of Nye Røtter's volunteers. Everyone contributed something to the barbecue, creating a shared meal that set the tone for an informal and welcoming evening.
Throughout the evening, participants used conversation starters to explore topics such as society, happiness, our relationship with nature, and what it means to live well together. The conversations quickly became open, thoughtful, and personal, allowing people who had only just met to connect in meaningful ways.
The gathering was a reminder that building community doesn't always require a formal programme. Sometimes it simply begins by sharing a meal, listening to one another, and making space for genuine conversations. It was a joyful start to the summer, filled with new friendships, fresh perspectives, and the simple pleasure of spending time together outdoors.
