The Future is Formed in Relationships

Dialog Event

How do we create the future we most want through the way we relate to ourselves and each other, both adults and children?

🌱 A meaningful evening at Deichman Tøyen

We gathered with Marthe Schneider Halin for a dialogue on how patterns of dominance and disconnection show up in our lives, often in the way we relate to ourselves.

We spoke about things many of us recognise. Self-judgement, holding back what we really feel, and not always honouring our own yes and no.

What stood out was the openness in the room. People shared honestly, sometimes about things that aren't easy to say out loud. And those moments were met with empathy, respect, and care.

A few simple takeaways stayed with us:

• Change can start in small ways, by noticing how we speak to ourselves
• Listening without trying to fix can be powerful
• Being met with empathy can shift something, even in a short moment

Maybe this is how something new begins. Slowly, in small spaces like this, and then carried into everyday life.

A warm thank you to Marthe for holding the space and guiding the conversation. Thank you to everyone who joined with openness and courage. And as always, thank you to the Deichman Tøyen team for supporting us.

We'll be sharing a few moments from the evening here. 📸 Photos by Svein Gunnar Kjøde.
